Reima Ajaton Jacket

The Ajaton (Finnish for “timeless”) is an updated version of the popular Naapuri jacket. It features a technical insulating layer and a fully weatherproof outer fabric, making it suitable for temperatures around 0ºC down to -20ºC with appropriate base and mid-layers. Naturally, it’s essential to monitor a child’s warmth, as individual needs may vary.

Compared to its predecessor, the Ajaton jacket has a softer, more flexible outer material. The smooth lining fabric makes it easier to put on and take off, even when wearing fleece or wool sweaters underneath.

• Taped seams
• Water resistance of at least 15,000 mm
• Breathability of at least 7000 g/m²/24h
• Outer fabric durability: 30,000 cycles in the Martindale test
• Insulation: Fellex made from recycled fibers
• Removable and adjustable hood with a faux fur trim; hood detaches automatically if it catches on something
• Two flap pockets and a zippered chest pocket
• Fluorocarbon-free, water- and dirt-repellent finish
• Adjustable waist and cuffs

Growth allowance: 6 cm. All Reima products are designed to allow room for growth, so selecting the size based on the child’s height should allow the garment to fit throughout the season.
