The Neutrino sleeping bag has a “tapered mummy” shape, meaning it narrows more sharply toward the foot end than a standard mummy bag. This is one of the factors that give the bag its excellent warmth-to-weight ratio.

The L.O.F.T. 3D down baffles are designed to prevent the down from shifting inside the chambers — this eliminates cold spots and the baffles also reduce the overall weight of the bag. Different fabrics are used in different areas: where durability is not as critical, a 10-denier shell is used, and elsewhere a 20-denier fabric, both top-quality Pertex Quantum ripstop.
