Rab Alpine -6

Sleeping bag with great performance for weight. 0 ... -6°C.
The Rab Alpine 6 sleeping bag has a relatively trim fit: when there is only a minimal amount of space around the body, you get the maximum thermal benefit from the down insulation. Thanks to a comfort temperature of 0°C, this bag matches a classic view of a three season sleeping bag, while Rab uses the term “two season bag”.
The bag uses the new L.O.F.T. baffle construction, which reduces down movement inside the chambers and decreases packed size. Down staying in place—especially when sleeping on your side—is impressively good. Side sleepers have also been considered in the placement of the drawcords and toggles for the draft collar and hood; they stay comfortably out of the way.
The down is treated to be water-repellent, as is standard today. In this bag, the treatment is Grangers’ Down Defend, which helps the down stay lofty in damp conditions and reduces clumping. Grangers products are water-based.

Both a stuff sack and a home storage sack are included: use the former on trips and the latter at home between trips to keep the bag lofty for years.
The choice “left” / “right” refers to the side of the zipper: most right-handed people use a “left” bag and vice versa.
