Rab Men's Batura Jacket

The Batura Jacket is made for the world’s extremes: Polar areas, Greenland, Alaska, etc. Its fill amount (425 grams in size M) is close to that of three season sleeping bags - and in this jacket, it’s all dedicated to keeping your upper body warm. It’s a wise idea to open the two-way zipper from the bottom a bit before sitting down, in order to safe it from lateral forces.

One way of putting the heftiness of this jacket into scale is to look at its weight: 1211 grams is the weight equivalent of three or four lightweight, non-waterproof down jackets.

New! This, Fall 2026 model of the Batura Jacket, comes with TILT technology, meaning it boasts incredibly light metal material that reflects your body’s heat radiation back towards your body. This brings extra warmth with near-zero weight penalty.

The surface fabric is Pertex Shield, offering full wind protection and good rain protection, complete with sealed seams.
