Petzl Swift LT

The Petzl Swift LT is great for hiking, walks, repair and installation work, etc. The beam is wide and offers good general illumination with a limited range. The Swift LT is the right choice when you’re looking for a light but capable close-range work light with a rechargeable battery.

The Swift LT’s minimalist strap system is very versatile: in addition to traditional use, it allows you to lower the light to about collarbone height against your chest to use it as a work light. It can also be used with a helmet when you get a separate adapter. As a bonus, the thin cords let moisture and sweat evaporate efficiently when, for example, you’re jogging or climbing steep hills.

The light is compatible with the separately sold bike light adapter (Bike Adapter Plate 2) and helmet mount.

In typical Petzl fashion, when using the middle brightness setting, the lamp will switch to a dim emergency mode for 2 hours once the battery is running low – this gives you up to two hours of safer progress compared to walking in complete darkness.
