Nao lights have been excellent for orienteering and trail running from their first version. A Nao Plus adjusts its light beam and power according to your surroundings, meaning that when you gaze further away, the light will give all it’s got while looking right in front of your feet or on a map will decrease the power. This technology saves not only electricity but also your night sight: you won’t “blind” yourself and then have to readjust. On its maximum settings in reactive mode the light puts out between 320 and 750 lumen. With the free to use application from Petzl you can program how the light responds to you using the switch.

Remember to hook up the battery of your new Nao light. Its connector is left detached at the factory.
