Petzl Nao LT

Nao series headlamps have been popular right from the first model. One of their strengths is the choice between constant brightness and Petzl Reactive Lighting mode: you can either set the output yourself or let the lamp adjust it within limits you choose.

Reading a map and other close-up work, for example, become much easier when the light adjusts its output to the situation. This also saves a significant amount of battery power: different environments reflect light in different ways, so there’s no point running at full power the whole time.

The Nao LT is rechargeable and remarkably light. The battery and lamp unit stay firmly on your head even when the pace picks up. We recommend this headlamp for hikers, trail runners, Scouts and everyone else who does walks, runs or skiing in the dark.

The Nao LT uses the lightweight Core battery familiar from many other Petzl headlamps. For longer outings you can purchase a second Core battery, or bring along three separately purchased AAA batteries. In the battery life table, the top section shows the outputs and run times with the Core battery, and the bottom section those with AAA batteries.

When using the medium output setting, the lamp switches to reserve mode as the battery runs low, still providing a dim light for about 2 hours.
