Petzl Aria 2R RGB

The Aria 2R RGB comes with the manufacturer’s rechargeable Core battery. In addition, you can take along a handful of AAA batteries – if the battery runs out without a chance to recharge, switching to battery use is easy. The maximum output is 625 lumens with the rechargeable battery and 450 lumens with regular batteries. With separately available helmet and bicycle adapters, the Aria becomes an even more versatile tool.

Compared to the Aria 1R RGB, this 2R version has more power and is 20 grams lighter.

A great choice for nature observers, fishermen and hunters: White light suits general use, red saves your night vision, doesn’t tempt bugs and is stealthy, green enhances contrasts and is great for map reading and blue enables seeing under water without scaring off fish as well as following blood trails.

The white light has three power settings. The coloured lights can be used either as a steady or strobe light.

As is typical for Petzl lights, when using medium power settings, the light has a 2 hour power reserve: instead of allowing you to drain the battery completely, it changes to a very low output mode, allowing for approx. 2 hours of emergency lighting.
