This is, among other things, a perfect mushroom knife. And it works well for plenty of other tasks too, like cooking, thanks to the thin blade that cuts cleanly. A great outdoor knife all round.

The legendary light folding knife. Blade lock. Carbon steel blade.
Opinel Model 6 Carbone - The legendary light folding knife. Blade lock. 7 cm carbon steel blade.
The carbon steel blade made of Sandvik XC90 steel and it cuts well, retains its blade well and is easy to sharpen. However, it is prone to rusting if not cared for properly – this model is made for people who take care of their gear. Always dry the blade after use and occasionally grease it. If this doesn’t sound tempting, check out our range of stainless Opinel knives.
