As is typical for Norrøna, the down filling in these pants is of top quality: the fill power of the RDS 2.0 certified down is 850 (incorrectly listed as 800 in the technical specifications). High-quality down packs small and weighs little in relation to its warmth.
Full-length side zippers and 3/4 leg length work perfectly with ski boots—you can put on and take off the pants without removing your boots.
The Lyngen Down Knickers are the perfect choice for freeriders, ski tourers, and anyone moving in cold conditions. Like the down filling, the fabric is also extremely lightweight: the 10-denier fabric keeps the weight in check but is not designed for rough activities, like working with sled dogs.
