MSR Elixir 1

The Elixir works well from spring through autumn. Setup is simple, and ventilation is effective. This updated model from the 2026 MSR lineup has slightly stronger fly and floor fabrics compared to the previous model.

When pitching, slide the poles diagonally into the corners of the inner tent and then snap the inner tent clips onto the poles. The shorter pole segment fits into the holders of the inner tent. After that, just throw the flysheet on top!

Thanks to the included footprint, the tent can also be pitched without the inner tent if desired. This is handy, for example, when you want rain protection during a lunch break. The footprint also protects the actual tent floor from wear and dirt.
