Two doors and vestibules, yet still lightweight! The Elixir performs well from spring through fall. Setup is simple, and ventilation works effectively. There’s enough space for three people, and if you’re looking for true luxury, it’s exceptionally roomy for two.

Pitching is simple and ventilation is efficient. You stick both main poles to their corner holders, clip the inner tent hooks to the poles, and then just set the fly on top after putting the shorter, third pole to its place.

The package includes a footprint, enabling pitching without using the inner tent. This setup can be handy when you need protection during, for instance, a lunch break.

This updated model from the 2026 MSR lineup has slightly stronger fly and floor fabrics compared to the previous model.
