This is a good tool for all kinds of woodcarving. If you like, you can follow Ray Mears by making a birch bark canoe. I mean, you’ve got the tool, right? Of the two blade radius options from Mora, this has the shallower curve, making it perfect for larger objects.
The leather sheath that comes along with this version is made from vegetable tanned leather from local cowhides.
