The Kerääjä knife’s heat-treated birch handle feels pleasant in the hand, even in cool weather. The blade is on the “back side” of the knife, designed to assist cutting by allowing you to support mushrooms or herbs with your thumb if needed.

The Kerääjä is a pretty elegant product - to the point where you might want to buy one for yourself, and another one to be given as a gift to another mushroom connoisseur.

The sheath can be hung in various ways: its leather attachment loop allows it to be suspended from a belt, belt loop, or even the handle of a mushroom basket. Its grommets also allow DIY style solutions, such as threading a cord through them.
