The Aapa puukko combines the legendary Ilves (lynx) handle and a blade model called leuku.

Aapa is Finnish for a minerotrophic bog, that is a bog where the middle part is lower than its edges.
A carbon steel blade will serve you for years, as long as you keep in mind a couple of key things: dry the blade right after use and occasionally give it a light coating of salt-free oil.
Handles made of synthetic materials always look the same, but wood handles each have a unique grain pattern - this means the knife you receive will not match the product image 100%. Please note that we do not accept grain patterns as a reason for a product exchange.
