As part of Lowa’s All Terrain lineup, the Renegade Mid GTX is, a lightweight and flexible, and a great choice for hikes, berry picking, walks in the rain, etc., etc. The rubber composite used in the sole is quite soft, so grip isn’t a problem. This boot won’t bind your ankles like full-blown trekking boots do, but are comfortable to wear even when not carrying a pack.
The Renegade Mid was published in 1997, and it has needed few touch-ups - the experienced shoe maker got it right the first time around. This 100 year jubileum model boasts a renewed Vibram sole for further enhanced grip.

Lowa does not use PFC chemicals in any of their products.
You can print Lowa’s size guide and use a credit card to measure your foot. The card is used as a spacer to place the A4 paper just far enough from the wall that its length is suitable for use in this way.
