The Naga Jolokia chili is also known as Bhut Jolokia and Naga Morich, depending on which part of India it’s grown in. This variety once held the title of the world’s hottest chili. Like other chilies of the capsicum chinense species, the heat creeps in a little afterwards.

For those used to chili, this isn’t the hottest jerky out there, but the idea isn’t to mask the flavours, instead it’s to add a sharp kick alongside them. 40 grams of jerky is made from 100 grams of meat!

Ingredients: beef roast, gluten-free soy sauce (water, hydrolysed soy protein, salt), sugar syrup, garlic, black pepper, Naga Jolokia chili (cane sugar vinegar).
