Keen - one of the most unique footwear manufacturers represented by Scandinavian Outdoor Store. This American based manufacturer makes sandals and shoes with a wide last and often equips even its sandal models with a hefty toe protector. Looks and last are not the only unique features of Keen shoes, however: the walking feel is quite nice, too! Keen footwear is sturdy in a movement from side to side, but very flexible when it comes to the “rolling” part of the gait. A word of caution about sizing: Keen footwear may be wide, but it is also short. The best guess is to take half a size or even a full size larger than you normally wear.
