The lens tint scale ranges from Cat1 to Cat3. Cat1 is suitable for foggy and cloudy conditions, while Cat3 is the darkest lens tint recommended for road traffic use.

The blue mirror surface of the lenses gives a slightly misleading impression of the tint: at its brightest, the lens is quite clear when viewed from the inside.
