Julbo is perhaps best known for their original mountain-oriented sunglasses, with leather glare shields on the sides. This Legacy model is a part of the manufacturer’s Heritage lineup, and offers a versatile, stylish and high quality package with modern details.
While retro models are made pretty much entirely of metal, the Legacy combines strong plastic with lightweight metal temples. It is not only made for the mountains: by detaching the side shields, you can wear them when hanging around town.
Since the photochromic lenses reach between cat2 and cat4, we can’t recommend this model for use in road traffic - the visible light transfer ranges from 20 to just 5%, offering fantastic protection but being potentially problematic in traffic.
