Joutsen Women's Särkkä

The Women’s Joutsen Särkkä combines Joutsen’s design with materials familiar from the hiking world. It’s a good choice when the mercury drops below freezing, and a true all-purpose jacket for cold weather. A generous hood and long hem provide protection, and the Pertex Quantum shell fabric, familiar to many hikers, shields you from the wind.

Joutsen classifies its down jackets into three warmth levels. Särkkä sits at level two, making it a jacket that works well for versatile winter use.

The shell fabric is made from discarded fishing nets.

Joutsen down jackets have been awarded the Design From Finland mark, which reflects Finnish design and responsible manufacturing. The jackets are filled with responsibly sourced down, a by-product of meat production. The down is cleaned at Joutsen’s own refinery without the use of hazardous chemicals.
