One of the Ranger Knives best features has always been its excellent leather sheath. Thanks to a rubber roller, the knife sits tightly in the sheath without rattling. The roller and a rubber stopper hold the handle’s guard firmly in place. The sheath also has a sturdy thumb tab, fixed with two rivets, that makes the knife easy to draw. The blade is noticeably thicker than most standard knives, and the overall feel is robust.

This special edition has an uncoated blade made from N690 steel by Austrian manufacturer Böhler. Peltonen’s standard steels are already high quality, but this special edition is for those who want top-grade steel. N690 is known for excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance. A reliable choice for hiking, bushcraft and military use.
