Peltonen Knives M23 Cub N690, Black Kydex Sheath

When the M07 and M95 are too heavy-duty a choice, the M23 Cub steps up to serve. This ergonomic knife suits carving and other small jobs, is light to carry and matches its big brothers in quality. The blade is 3.2 mm thick instead of the 4.5 mm found on the larger knives. The blade is uncoated.

This special model has an uncoated blade made of N690-type steel from the Austrian manufacturer Böhler. Even Peltonen’s “standard steels” are very high in quality, but this special model suits users who value top-tier quality. This steel grade is known for its excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance. An excellent choice for hiking, bushcraft and military use.

We classify Peltonen Knives’ Sissi knives as full tang knives, because even though the handle material extends over the edge of the tang to protect your hand from the cold metal in freezing conditions, for example, they are entirely full-tang in terms of sturdiness.
