The Tecton combines cushioning compatible with long distances with carbon fiber plates, resulting in a shoe that’s both fast and long-distance capable. A good choice when speed is needed! The upper is made from durable Matryx fabric.
On the manufacturer’s three-step scale, the Tecton falls on the side that emphasizes running feel and responsiveness, meaning there is no overly cushioned layer underfoot.
The fit is decidedly roomier, and this together with the width of the outer sole makes the Tecton X 4 best suited for slightly smoother trails.
