Hilleberg Staika is a remarkably stable, free-standing two-person dome tent with two exits and two vestibules. It suits alpinist, paddlers, bike tourers… Anyone who’s looking for a very storm proof tent with great space. For cooking and storage purposes the inner tent can be partially or completely detached. The tent is easy to pitch, even alone in bad weather, thanks to its simple cup - and clip pole support system.
In contrast to another Hilleberg dome, the Allak, the Staika has a sturdier main material (Kerlon 1800 vs. Kerlon 1200), more anchoring points (16 vs. 12) and thicker poles(10mm vs 9mm), all serving the purpose of making this a very strong tent indeed.
- Two ventilation areas, adjustable both from the inside and outside, ensure effective air flow
- Ventilations are protected from the rain, snow, and insects
- Four pockets in the inner tent plus attachment points for a clothesline
- Two entrances and vestibules make life easy, giving a private storage space for both - on the other hand one of the doors is always downwind
- Fly hydrostatic head 5000 mm
- Floor hydrostatic head 20 000 mm
