The Hilleberg Akto is a multiple award-winning tent. It is a weather-resistant and lightweight solo tent with comfortable space. The carefully considered dimensions and design ensure both functionality and lightness. True to Hilleberg’s style, no compromises have been made in materials or construction—it’s more important for a hiker to trust their tent than to save a few hundred grams.

Compared to Hilleberg’s other solo tent, Soulo, Akto’s primary advantage is its weight. Additionally, Akto is more compact when packed: while the fabric areas are similar, Akto’s single pole is far easier to pack than Soulo’s three poles.

When compared to some of the lightest solo tents in our selection (Vaude and Terra Nova), Akto offers better weather resistance, more durable materials for frequent use, and superior interior and vestibule space.

Hilleberg Red Label tent: the lightest tent series designed for year-round use. Red Label tents are ideal for those who want to prepare for harsh conditions while also prioritizing a lightweight design. The materials in Red Label tents are lighter than those in the Black Label series, but the tents remain highly durable.

Hilleberg does not use PFC compounds in its current production.
