To extend the space in the wide vestibules with flooring, the footprint is a perfect addition. It is very sturdy yet lightweight material and prolongs the life of the flooring that comes with the tent. I mainly wanted to have it for those reasons and it does everything outstandingly in the perfect Hilleberg quality!
