This product is not shipped to United States
A spotting scope and tripod with video head, complete with an ED lens.
When you move up from the “prices starting at” models in optics, you often see the letter combination ED in the product information. In this context, it refers to Extra low Dispersion glass, i.e. glass that disperses light as little as possible. This reduces image distortion and helps to provide a precise, well-reproduced image.
The Viewmaster ED 16 - 48 x 65 is relatively light and easy to carry. It is suitable for beginners and moderate enthusiasts in birding, as well as hunting. This model offers a lot of function for the price, and differences to scopes four times the price are seen in demanding situations, such as trying to see the finest detail in the plumage of tiny shorebirds.
The focus roller has two parts: the rear part moves the focus faster, by rotating the front end you can fine-tune the focus to the exact spot.
A handy tripod complete with video head is included, made by Velbon, and the model is Videomate 638.
The product dimensions and weight information apply to the scope itself, they do not include a tripod.
