Absolutely lovely backpack! I haven't tried cycling in the rain with this yet, but the fabric should be waterproof. The zipper might leak, but then you can put your stuff in the big pocket and it's nicely protected.

The High Coast Foldsack has a simple closing system: a zip at the mouth, plus a strap with which you can buckle down the exess fabric. It is also very light: less than 600 grams despite a 24 liter capacity.
Since the zipper runs straight instead of in a curve, it’s easy to predict a long lifespan.
