FabPatch Vaatelaastari Reflective Stars

Nordic-made Vaatelaastari lets you patch small holes, worn spots and tears in your favourite clothes, or even your backpack.

Note! This product’s reflectivity isn’t enough to replace proper certified reflectors, but it can give your visibility a welcome boost.

• Main fabric is 65% polyester and 35% cotton
• This Vaatelaastari model doesn’t stretch, so use it on non-stretch clothing and gear fabrics

How to use:

• Always peel the Vaatelaastari® patch from the fabric side, not the backing side, about halfway
• Place the exposed surface on the area you’re repairing without touching the adhesive, then slide the backing paper off
• If the hole is large, put a second Vaatelaastari or a small piece of fabric on the other side.
• You can pinch a small hole closed
• Rub firmly with a spoon or your fingernail for 1-2 minutes
• Done!

Coated textiles, or textiles containing a lot of chemicals such as softeners, may not hold the patch as well through washing. There are too many variables to make an exact promise on wash durability. At best, Vaatelaastari stays put through years of wear and washing. Applied correctly, it should at least survive several washes without coming off. Edges lifting slightly over time is normal for adhesive patches. If you like, you can trim the edges with clean scissors.
