A versatile puukko with a 95 mm carbon steel blade.

Traditional styling, carbon steel blade and leather sheath. A Nordic style basic tool of outdoor enthusiasts, perfect for making feathered sticks, other woodwork, and gutting fish! The blade is easy to sharpen to extreme sharpness with regular whetstones.

The tar treatment of the handle involves spreading a tried and true tar blend on the wood, after which it’s allowed to settle for two days and nights. After this, the tar surface is polished.

  • Blade length / total length: 95 / 200 mm
  • Blade thickness: 3.2 mm
  • Birch gnarl handle with tar treatment
  • Leather sheath
  • Brass hardware

Lapinvuolu -> Lapin = Lapland’s, vuolu = carve, whittle.

A layer of carbon has been left on the side of the blade. In proper use, this layer will slowly wear away.

Remember: carbon steel blades can rust if not maintained properly. Make sure to dry the blade after every use and occasionally give it a light cover of salt-free oil.

Handles made of synthetic materials always look the same, but wood handles each have a unique grain pattern - this means the knife you receive will not match the product image 100%. Please note that we do not accept grain patterns as a reason for a product exchange.
