Eräpuu Lapinleuku - A sturdy, no-nonsense leuku. Hand made in Finland. The carbon steel blade is easy to sharpen with regular whetstones, there’s no need to use a diamond sharpener, though there’s no harm in using one either. There’s no rivet at the end of the handle: the butt is smooth, so you can push on it with your hand when the job calls for it.
The Lapinleuku 210 is quite hefty in size, but it’s not too clumsy for general use, either.

A layer of carbon has been left on the side of the blade. In proper use, this layer will slowly wear away.
Dry the blade well before putting the knife back in its sheath. The leuku can be hand washed. Just remember to dry and oil the blade with non-salty food oil afterwards.
Handles made of synthetic materials always look the same, but wood handles each have a unique grain pattern - this means the knife you receive will not match the product image 100%. Please note that we do not accept grain patterns as a reason for a product exchange.
