Cotopaxi’s Todo (“everything” in Spanish) series of shoulder bags has the right size for every outing. This eight-litre model is a good third the size of many daypacks, so it holds a whole different amount of gear than even the biggest pockets on your clothes. The bag measures 36 x 25 x 10 cm.

• Padded carry strap, detachable at the lower end
• Zipped front pocket with a key clip
• Inside, a compartment sized for a tablet or phone, with a snap-fastened securing strap
• On the outside, a webbing loop where you can attach and hang gear
