The Fuego jacket has all the features desired in a lightweight down jacket: it packs into its own pocket when needed, insulates better than even thick fleece, and provides wind protection. When you add a good hood to the package, the result is a jacket that works well both as a hiker’s rest layer and for general use in cold weather. Most of the time, a lightweight down jacket is best worn as the outermost layer, but in harsh conditions, it’s advisable to throw a roomy shell jacket over it.
The model is 177 cm tall and wears a size 1X jacket.
The fabrics have a water-repellent finish that speeds up drying. It does not contain PFC compounds.
The factory that made the jacket is Fair Trade certified and committed to the UN’s “Global Compact and Principles of Responsible Business.” It conducts annual audits and subcontractor inspections and follows the principles mentioned in the Ethical Trading Initiative’s Better Buying Guide.”
