Cotopaxi products are designed for high quality and a long lifespan. The shell and lining of the Fuego range are made of 100% recycled nylon, and the down is certified to the Responsible Down Standard (RDS).

The Fuego jacket has all the features desired in a lightweight down jacket: it packs into its own pocket when needed, insulates better than even thick fleece, and provides wind protection. When you add a good hood to the package, the result is a jacket that works well both as a hiker’s rest layer and for general use in cold weather. Most of the time, a lightweight down jacket is best worn as the outermost layer, but in harsh conditions, it’s advisable to throw a roomy shell jacket over it.

The fabrics have a water-repellent finish that speeds up drying. It does not contain PFC compounds.
