An insulated vest, winter vest or down vest provides a lot of warmth with little weight. Choose your favourite: down is still unbeatable in terms of warmth and weight, while synthetic insulation materials are more resistant to moisture.

You can wear a thermal vest underneath or on top - for example, under a shell jacket it adds extra insulation between your body and the cold outside air, taking advantage of the windproof properties of the shell layer. Since there are no sleeves, the freedom of movement of your shell jacket remains unchanged when you wear an insulated or down vest.
