Sleeping in a hammock is superbly comfy, until it starts to get cold. You’ll find your body heat is being drained away through the floor. Using a camping mattress is the logical first choice, but using one in a hammock is not 100% simple: with slippery materials it’s quite a chore to get the mattress, sleeping bag and your body aligned properly for comfortable sleep.

The MoonQuilt solves this problem by creating a layer of insulation on the outside of the hammock, where it’s not affected at all by your body weight and does not restrict your movement.

There are no standard tests for underquilts like this, but the manufacturer considers this product good for use to about +10 or even +5ºC.
