Thermarest Neoair Xtherm NXT Regular

The NeoAir product family has been super popular since its introduction. NeoAir pads insulate you against the ground with the help of a maze of small internal compartments that prevent air from circulating inside. As your body heat warms the air in these compartments, you’ll have a luxurious layer of warm air underneath. Unlike self-inflating pads, this pad type can also be stored in its super compact packing bag without damaging it.

NeoAir mats marked with the NXT designation are significantly quieter in use than the original NeoAirs—the first mats made an annoying crinkling sound, for example, when turning over.

This model boasts an insulation R rating of a whopping 7.3. This means the pad is also suitable for demanding winter use.

As other airpads, this NeoAir should always be inflated with either the included pumpsack, or a separately available pump. This minimizes the amount of moisture that ends up inside - if you were to inflate the pad by blowing, you’d easily end up with considerable moisture.
