You can see through it well and it's roomy enough to wear a cap underneath. Bought on sale, so the price was very reasonable when I ordered it.

I ordered the nets for both myself and the children for the trip to Lapland. In Lapland, you can't even go into the forest in the summer without a mosquito net. I tried the net for children's warm hats (2 and 6 years old) and it would seem that the net would work for them as well, because the net is not huge. Visibility through the net is clear, at least in bright weather. The net fits in a really small bag that comes with it, so it's a good choice as a travel net.
