Salomon X Ultra 3 Gore-Tex

Excellent hiking shoes. Have tried them in Faroe Islands already as well as in Zagori, Greece in challenging terrains and they excelled. Can't recommend them enough!

Super dojos. Have now cut 4 pairs where there is nothing to complain about. I have worn out the soles. Have broken feet and these work great for me.

Shoes were nice but I got a size too small for me and had to return them! Amazing service though.

Suitable for both running and light hiking, being a good all-purpose hiking shoe that holds up reasonably well even on wet surfaces, e.g. on trails. Gore-tex limits the use a little in the hottest temperatures, but it works even then. In completely wet conditions, for example in a swamp, it's hard to get dry if you get to "run over". However, gore-tex suits this type of shoe well, it is also suitable for day walks and hikes. It doesn't support the ankle like bulky hiking shoes, which I consider a plus: it makes the shoe agile.

The model is slightly better than where the tightening "band" goes diagonally. Gives a little more flexibility for general use and thus comfort of use.
