The insect-repellent agent is derived from lemongrass. It can withstand over 50 washes. The extract has a very mild, pleasantly lemony scent that many insects, such as ticks and mosquitoes, find intolerable. Ticks always crawl upward, so you can make it harder for them to reach your skin by wearing the cuffs of insect-repellent socks over your trouser legs and tucking your shirt into your trousers. Still, always remember to check your child’s skin at the end of the day.
