A "wide mouth" bottle compatible filter cap.
The Daycap lid with its integrated filter is a minimalist choice. It filters out 99.9% of protozoa and 99.9999% of bacteria, meeting EPA and NSF standards.
NOTE! This product does not contain a bottle. This is a filter cap compatible with the following, separately available bottles: Nalgene Wide Mouth, Hydro Flask Wide Mouth, Yeti Yonder and CamelBak Wide Mouth bottles. The Wide Mouth standard has a diameter of 63 mm.
- Filtration rate: up to 1 liter per minute
- The cap includes a flap to protect the drinking spout from dirt
- The package includes the lid and its attached filter element
If/when the filter’s flow rate seems to slow down, shake the bottle vigorously - this helps clean the hollow fiber filter.
Do not allow the filter to freeze - freezing can damage the filter element if it remains wet.
