The Laman jacket, made of windproof ripstop polyester, is a good choice when you need protection from the wind, but not from prolonged rain. Its Teflon EcoElite impregnation does take care of small showers, though. The jacket can be packed in its own pocket. The hem is longer at the rear - this is useful e.g. while cycling.
