Peltonen Metsä Skin

Traditional Finnish back country skis, updated: with moder grip skins, you don’t have to worry about kick waxes. The 70 mm width brings a ton of buoyancy compared to regular cross country skis - these are used for terrain with no ready-made tracks, and for relatively flat terrain. The straight cut makes for stability when making your way through the scenery.

When tested by Hiihto magazine in its issue 2/2019, the Peltonen Metsä Skin was noted as the most versatile ski of the bunch.

• Grip skins made of Mohair, for care-free grip
• Straight sidecut: 70 / 70 / 70 mm
• Flexible tip, for good function in deeper snow
• Made in Finland

The skis will develop a bit more glide over the miles - fresh skins resist gliding more than ones that have been “driven in”.
