70 mm wide skis with skins, for back country touring, hunting and ice fishing.
Traditional Finnish back country skis, updated: with moder grip skins, you don’t have to worry about kick waxes. The 70 mm width brings a ton of buoyancy compared to regular cross country skis - these are used for terrain with no ready-made tracks, and for relatively flat terrain. The straight cut makes for stability when making your way through the scenery.
When tested by Hiihto magazine in its issue 2/2019, the Peltonen Metsä Skin was noted as the most versatile ski of the bunch.
