The Great Route Book is a supplementary sequel to the previously published books “The Great Route Book” (2017, no longer available) and “Mini Archipelagos” (2021), published in 2026. This new edition contains over 100 precise special maps from the Archipelago Sea and the southern part of the Bothnian Sea.
The maps in the book show several useful boat routes, which make it possible to navigate safely through the labyrinthine and rocky archipelago areas. The large route book contains much more detailed shallow water information than a nautical chart.
The book is not intended for navigation, for that you must have appropriate sea charts. The book’s purpose is to fill up sea charts in shallow, difficult-to-navigate and irregular sea areas and to provide the necessary additional information, without which boats would not be able to navigate in the areas on the book’s charts.
