Compared to many of the thicker mattresses now common on the market, the Sleepin Double 3.0 has the advantage of a compact pack size. In terms of insulation, this pad is warm enough for use whenever the conditions are not below freezing.

When using a self-inflating mat for the first time, follow these steps: open the package, unroll the mat, open the valves, and blow into it a couple of times to help the foam start expanding. The first time may be slow and a bit stiff, but the process becomes quicker if you always store the mat at home with the valve open and only use the stuff sack for travel.
