North Outdoor Women's Kinos

Allow us to introduce your new favourite sweater! The women’s North Outdoor Kinos (Finnish for a pile of snow) wool sweater, made in Oulu, is crafted from high-grade merino wool, mulesing-free, naturally. It works just as well as loungewear on cool indoor days as it does as part of your layering on a frosty day.

Compared to a regular wool sweater, a merino wool sweater is less itchy: most people who find ordinary sheep’s wool itchy can wear merino without any trouble. The secret lies in the fibres themselves, the individual hairs: they are thinner, and their scales are considerably smaller than on ordinary sheep’s wool.

The measurements C, D, E and F are circumferences.

Air out your merino wool sweater regularly and wash it only when needed. Wool’s natural properties effectively resist odours. When it’s time to wash, turn the sweater inside out and use a wool detergent with a wool or delicate programme and the gentlest spin setting, and 30°C. Make sure there’s no bleach or fabric softener in the machine. Don’t tumble dry; instead, lay the sweater flat to dry, for example on a towel.

North Outdoor’s production generates the smallest possible amount of material waste, because the products are knitted directly to the right size, without cutting out pieces.
