The BR3 series Sport sailing trousers are relatively lightweight and primarily intended for coastal use. They feature a three-layer construction, which is the most durable type of shell clothing structure, as the outer fabric, waterproof membrane, and lining are laminated into a single unit. This construction also allows the garment to dry quickly after use, as there are no hidden areas where moisture can linger.
The BR3 Sport trousers also offer a bit of stretch to move with you – no need to suffer the suit-of-armor feel of older sailing gear.
The bib-style upper section is comfortably flexible. In the additional images where the trousers are turned inside out, you can see how far the waterproof part extends, marked by the gray lining fabric.
