A very rugged, dependable gravity filter.
The original Guardian caused a stir among the outdoor community at the time of its release: designed for extremely demanding conditions, the filter could even withstand freezing and offered exceptionally high performance. Now this same Guardian technology has been applied to a gravity filter design. A 10-liter water bag and gravity operation make this a great choice for group use as well.

This model comes with a 10-liter water bag that you can hang from, for example, a tree branch and wait a while – the result is drinkable water. The filtration results meet the requirements of the U.S. military test standard NSF Protocol P248: Guardian Gravity filters at least 99.99% of viruses, 99.9999% of bacteria, 99.9% of protozoa, and also removes sediment and microplastics.
In addition, the filter’s activated carbon element removes, for example, unpleasant tastes from the water.

Note! Water filters or purification tablets do not remove toxins produced by blue-green algae blooms, and therefore cannot make water contaminated by blue-green algae safe to drink.
